"Who we are? We are the company HGR Instrumente GmbH in the beautiful town of Nendingen, a district of Tuttlingen in the very south of Germany, close to the border of Switzerland and Austria. Our family business, which has grown in the meantime, has been founded in 1992 and is owned in the 2nd generation by Thomas and Sabine Hänßler.
Our core competence is the production of surgical instruments. If you would like to know what all these products are, then take a look at the section "Products" section.
Even though "HGR" is not a manufacturer in the sense of the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR 2017/745) and does not market the products under its own name, our products are known beyond the borders of Germany and are used in hospitals all over the world, something we are very proud of. In addition to a number of small and medium-sized companies, our customers also include the national and international "big players" in the medical device industry.
In close cooperation with our customers, we have therefore raised our quality standards to a demanding and high level. This quality concept is part of the DNA of our approximately 40 employees.
With HGR it is not only to satisfy our employees and customers with our products and processes - HGR wants to inspire!
